Ever fantasize about putting on the Ritz and socializing with cocktail in hand as you try your luck at the roulette table?  Then you must join the Art Deco Society of Los Angeles as we travel back in time to 1920 and live it up Boardwalk Empire-style.  The oldest private club in Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Athletic Club will open its exclusive doors to us for an evening of games of chance, libations and wicked fun.

In Los Angeles there are lots of opportunities each week for those of a vintage inclination to dress, drink and socialize.  But only at Casino Moderne will you have an opportunity to do all of that while trying your hand at poker, blackjack, craps, and roulette. This ain’t no gin mill.  They got the goods.  You want a Sidecar?  They actually know how to make one!  I’m tired of telling bartenders how to make a drink.  No need here.  Their cash bar will serve you up a vintage cocktail in style. While it says hors d’oeuvres will be served, last year it said the same thing and it was more of a light meal.  So your ticket price isn’t just for admission and a couple of complimentary nibbles.  I was full last year, though if you’re a guy for whom a meal isn’t a meal without a hunk of meat and a baked potato, well for you it may look like hors d’oeuvres.  Don’t have that perfect 20s suit or beaded dress?  Don’t fret about your glad rags.  Those in their 20s best will gladly be welcomed, but a jacket or cocktail dress will fit in just fine. Member tickets are $50.00
Non-member tickets are $65.00 So don’t be a killjoy and join the ADSLA for an evening of gaming (strictly legal and just for fun), drinking and good times.  Visit the ADSLA Casino Moderne website for more details and to register in advance.
