Fifteen years ago yesterday, I wed Husband in a beautiful ceremony on Maui at the Grand Wailea Resort.  Our closest friends joined us for a magical ceremony that included our vows in a stained glass church near the beach, a sunset whale-watching reception cruise on a schooner with humpback whales breaching and dolphins racing us in our wake.  It was truly magical.

So now that I’ve said my soppy sentiments (what can I say, it’s was my anniversary), here are a few photos from the day.  The silk dress I made myself, as I wanted to look like a Hawaiian princess on my wedding day (I did hula back in the day and wanted something that would have fit in on Hawaii a century ago.)  My “something blue” was my blue corset underneath and I sewed blue Austrian crystals to the bodice.  The skirt no longer exists, as I chopped it up to make my son’s baptismal gown and romper.  What would my son do with my wedding dress?  I wanted him to have something he may actually use one day.  Only the bodice remains.  Hope you enjoy.

'Bye for Now,
