This delicious vintage cocktail delights with Cognac, Cointreau and lemon juice.
Servings: 2small servings
1ozFresh lemon juice (don't use bottled - about half a large lemon or one whole small lemon should provide 1 oz.)
3ozCognac or brandy (I used St. Rémy VSOP)
Put ice in a cocktail shaker. Add lemon juice, Cointreau and Cognac. Shake. Pour in to two martini glasses and enjoy!
If you like, you can add a sugar rim to your martini glass by adding a little water to a saucer and a little sugar in a separate saucer. Dip the rim of the martini glass in the water and then in to the sugar before pouring in the Sidecar.
