This refreshing libation is perfect on a summer day.

  • 3 oz Club soda, or more
  • 2 oz Gin (Old Tom or dry gin)
  • 1 oz Lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 1/2 tsp Confectioners' sugar
  • Garnish, as desired
  1. Combine the lemon juice and confectioners' sugar in the bottom of a tall collins glass and stir to dissolve the sugar. Add the gin. Fill the glass up to the top with ice and top off the ice with club soda. Garnish as you will, perhaps with a twist of lemon, a maraschino cherry and a sprig of mint
